Describe your style.

This is a hard question because I feel like my style depends on my mood, but always comfy and a lil bit playful.

What's your daily stud look? How does jewelry play into your self-expression?

I love lil gold huggies for lobe holes and single statement jewelry for my cartilage piercings. I currently have a lil smiley face that looks like those potato smileys, Virgo sign, and snake. I always mix silver and gold.

I struggled a lot with my ethnic identity when I was a child and young teenager, primarily because I was always surrounded by upper-middle class white people and consequently always comparing myself to them. Jewelry (and clothing) hold a lot of importance to me because it was at first a tool to assimilate to the people around me, but was never fully achieved because I always felt and was viewed as “other.” It’s now a tool for me to do the exact opposite as before, to self-express and distinguish myself further from others.

How many piercings do you have?

I have 8 piercings on my right ear, 3 on my left ear, and 1 left nipple piercing.

What are you obsessed with right now?

Always obsessed with dogs, but particularly this dog that I dog-sit once a month. His name is Colby and he’s ( I think) a Pitbull / Heeler mix.

What's your party trick?

I don’t think it would be appropriate to disclose online...

If you could make one thing into an earring, what would be?

2020 YEAR OF THE RAT, I WILL BE 24 - I would love for Chinese zodiac signs to be earrings. I grew up being gifted lil rat keychains, pendants, and rings from my relatives, but never earrings.
