Product description

Feeling lucky? The Golden Titanium 8 Ball adds a playful nod to the classic 8 Ball with a tiny, unexpected detail for your stack.

Care Instructions

To keep your Studs from tarnishing we recommend avoiding water and removing your Studs before you shower, swim or sweat. To clean your earrings use a dry, soft, clean cloth. For a deep clean use water and a soap without harsh chemicals and dry immediately with a clean soft cloth. Always store your earrings in a cool, dry place.

How to use an insertion tool

An insertion tool is designed to make jewelry changes smoother by creating a seamless transition between your piercing and your new jewelry.

How it works:

  1. Slide the top of the post backing or clicker onto the insertion tool
  2. Attach your jewelry with the pin of the insertion tool.
  3. Gently guide the tool through your ear.
  4. Once your jewelry is positioned, remove the tool and secure the jewelry.

Why use one?

Because jewelry changes should feel seamless. An insertion tool helps keep everything aligned, making it easier to transition between pieces, especially when working with small ends or hard-to-reach piercings.

What is Golden Titanium?
A close-up of a textured gold surface.

Made with the same hypoallergenic, implant-grade titanium used in our piercings, Golden Titanium gets its rich gold tone through anodization — an electrical process that creates color directly from the titanium itself. There’s no plating or coating to chip, just a golden finish made from the titanium itself. Slight color variation may occur from piece to piece.

How to insert a flatback

Flatbacks are designed with comfort in mind: a low-profile disk sits against the back of your ear while the decorative end sits up front. The key to changing them? A little patience, the right angle, and no forcing.

How to Insert a Flatback

  1. Separate the top from the flatback post by gently pulling the two pieces apart.
  2. Insert the flatback post from the back of your piercing, so the flat disc sits flush against the back of your ear.
  3. Line up the earring top with the opening of the post on the front of your ear.
  4. Gently push the top into the post until it feels secure. Threadless flatbacks are held in place by tension, so there’s no twisting or screwing required - just make sure there's a slight bend in the top if it doesn't feel secure!
  5. Give it a gentle check to make sure the top is fully inserted and secure.

Pro tip: Flatbacks can be a little tricky the first time. Our Flatback Insertion Tool can help guide the post through your piercing and make changing your jewelry easier.
