WHAT DOES CLICKER SIZING REALLY MEAN?

A Clicker is a circular earring featuring a hinge closure that becomes seamless once secured. This design makes Clickers incredibly comfortable for 24/7 wear.

At Studs, we offer a wide range of Clicker styles, including classic seamless designs, double and triple prong, pavé, bezel, pear, and more. These options make it easy to create versatile and stylish Earscapes.

Our Clickers come in various sizes, so you can find the perfect fit for any piercing placement. With dozens of styles available, you can effortlessly build your ideal Earscape using our ready-to-wear options.

 3 REASONS WE LOVE CLICKERS

  • Clickers are seamless, lightweight, and extremely comfortable, making them perfect for those who prefer not to frequently change their Earscapes—or for anyone who enjoys sleeping in their earrings.
  • They're versatile and can be worn anywhere on your Earscape, but they’re most commonly styled in cartilage piercings. With sizes ranging from 6mm to 10mm, you’ll always find a Clicker that fits your desired placement.
  • We continue to expand our collection, offering everything from minimalist essentials to bezel and baguette CZ designs, as well as multi-prong styles that add dimension to any Earscape.

WHAT DOES CLICKER SIZING REALLY MEAN?

Everyone’s ear anatomy is unique! That’s why our classic Clickers come in four sizes: 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm. This range allows you to select the best fit based on your piercing location, ear thickness, and piercing angle.

Refer to our Clicker Size Diagram below for our piercers' recommended size selections.

LET'S TALK PAVÈ: STANDARD SET VS. FRONT SET

One of the best features of Clickers is their versatility. Among our many styles, Pavé Clickers stand out for their flair and anatomy-based adaptability. Adorned with CZs, these Clickers are available in two settings: Standard and Front Set.

We recommend wearing a Front Set Clicker in a Daith piercing, allowing the Pavé setting to be front and center on your Earscape, while Standard Pavé Clickers can be worn anywhere along the ear.

P.S. CLICKERS ARE THICKER

Our Clickers typically come in 16 or 18 gauge (16g, 18g), which is thicker than standard butterfly back posts (20g). Remember, the smaller the number, the thicker the earring!

Always check the 'Details & Materials' section to confirm the gauge of your chosen style. Because of their thickness, you might need assistance from a professional piercer to insert a Clicker. We offer jewelry change services to help you safely insert or swap out your earrings. Book a jewelry change at a location near you.

HOW TO INSERT CLICKERS

If you're inserting a Clicker yourself, follow these steps:
  • Unhook the closure at the top of the Clicker.
  • Insert the Clicker into a healed piercing. Tip: Our Clickers are 16 or 18 gauge, so you may need to apply a little pressure when inserting them. For reference, standard butterfly backs are 20 gauge (thinner).
  • Clasp the Clicker shut—you should hear a satisfying click!
